Fire Departments

 

Faulkner County Office of Emergency Management serves as the Fire Services Coordinating Agency for the county.  Chief Deputy Jimmy Wiedower has been designated as the Faulkner County Fire Service Coordinator and can be reached at 501-450-4935.  Currently, there are 23 fire departments within Faulkner County.  All of these departments, except Conway Fire Department, are volunteer departments.

Faulkner County Office of Emergency Management provides technical assistance to fire departments in the county regarding their state funding, local revenue funding, training, and communications.  Faulkner County Office of Emergency Management also provides resources to these departments during disasters from other sources both inside and outside of the county.  We also coordinate with the County Judge to issue a burn ban when conditions are favorable for wildfires.  Check burn ban status here.
